No Veclro or anything but this grip your mat and allows for easy carring. Simple and useful.

Unfortunately not for travel-sized mats

I had hoped this adjustable strap would work with my travel mat. Unfortunately it is not "that" adjustable and it regularly slipped off my mat. I'm sure it's great for a regular-sized mat but don't buy it for a smaller travel mat.

I LOVE my matt carry strap. As I do Yoga at work, in a different building - it is easy to carry my yoga mat. It doubles as a great stretch helper for my calf and muscles. It slips onto on mat easily for carrying and tightens nicely. It also has the length to help me stretch sore muscles as I mentioned before.
